Dear friends and colleagues,
I have received four responses to my query (LINGUIST List 11.2347) with
regard to hybrid functional categories. According to them, the following
two studies deal with such categories.
TENSE AND ASPECT: From Semantics to Morphosyntax
Alessandra Giorgi, University of Bergamo, Italy, and Fabio Pianesi,
Institute for Technology and Scientific Research (IRST), Trento, Italy
(Oxford Studies in Comparative Syntax)
Peter Gallmann (1990): Kategoriell Komplexe Wortformen.
T$B]C(Bingen: Niemeyer (= Reihe Germanistische Linguistik 108; Written in
German)
I thank the following four linguists for their help.
Nigar Gulsat Tosun <tosun at fas.harvard.edu>
Peter Oehl <oehl at IMS.Uni-Stuttgart.DE>
Martin Salzmann <Salzmann.M at gmx.ch>
Sze-Wing Tang <sw.tang at polyu.edu.hk>
I would like to tell the LINGUIST subscribers that we are all interested in
the study of hybrid functional categories and always welcome your future
help and interest in the topic.
Thank you again.
