 Japanese Language: The University of Canterbury, New Zealand invites
 applications for the 3 year fixed-term position of Lecturer (Assistant
 Professor) in the Department of Asian Languages from persons with a higher
 degree in a relevant field.  The appointee's duties will be teaching
 Japanese language courses and administration.  Applicants should have
 native or near-native fluency and literacy in modern standard Japanese and
 should also be able to communicate effectively in English. Prior
 experience of teaching Japanese as a second language at the tertiary level
 is sought, as is previous administrative experience.  Further details
