The Faculty of Humanities of the University of Potsdam (Department of
Linguisitcs) is seeking to fill a position of an Assistant Professor
for Experimental Phonology/Phonetics (Juniorpfrofessor).

Knowledge in phonology and phonetics, especially in the domain of
intonation, is required. Acquaintance with experimental set-ups and
speech analysis programs are an advantage. Further qualifications are
expected in the interaction between syntax and phonology. Since the
position involves teaching at all levels, knowledge of German, or at
least willingness to learn German within a short delay is a must.
Candidates are also expected to cooperate with the members of the
staff in different research projects, and to lead their own research
projects.
