We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Subject: Occurrence Frequencies of Korean words
Hello,
I am currently doing research on the Korean language, which requires
information about the occurrence frequencies of Korean words. If anyone
could recommend a source where I could get the information, please
contact me off the list at chunling at telusplanet.net. Your help will be
greatly appreciated.

Subject: Sorani/Kurdish
I am trying to obtain information/tools/dictionary etc for learning the
Sorani language. This is a Kurdish dialect spoken in Kurdistan/Iraq.
Do you know where I can obtain information regarding this language. I
know it is not widely spoken - but there must be something!!!
I look forward to hearing from you if you can help in any way.
Thanks in anticipation.
