Subject: New Developments in Research on Verbal Interaction/ Germany
7th Meeting "New developments in research on verbal interaction"
at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany)
from March 21st to March 23rd, 2001.
This year, the main topic of the meeting will be "methods for analyzing
verbal interaction". Papers will focus on issues of method from the point of
view of different approaches to verbal interaction, such as conversation
analysis, interactional linguistics, foucauldian discourse analysis,
workplace studies or system theory. In addition, there will be a workshop on
the role of context in the analysis of verbal interaction and presentations
of several current editors for transcribing talk.
All papers will be given in German.
All researchers interested in issues pertaining to verbal interactions are
invited to paticipate!
