TouchPoint Consulting is a small professional services firm that
provides helps clients evaluate, design and measure satisfaction with
customer interfaces. Major projects have focused on designing
automated telephone systems, web sites, PC banking applications, print
statements & documents, and facilitating workshop presentations and
joint application development (JAD) sessions.
TouchPoint is an innovative firm that uses knowledge of cognitive and
psycholinguistic processes to understand the needs and preferences of
the user in order to create effective interface applications and
processes. Our client list includes major U.S. banks, mutual fund
companies, manufacturers, and communications companies.
We are looking for someone with strong research skills (preferably
Ph.D.-level) and a real interest in developing highly effective user
interfaces. This person will be responsible for managing and
executing research projects, conducting usability interviews, and
contributing to the development of innovative service offerings.
Independence, intuitiveness, curiosity, people skills, the ability to
think on your feet, and a commitment to producing a quality service
are important attributes. Familiarity with PCs, desktop software (for
preparing documents and graphics), and the Internet is a plus.
