First UK Hispanic Linguistics Symposium
Organized by University of Surrey and Birkbeck College, University of London
This is the second Call for Papers for the First UK Hispanic Linguistic
Symposium to be held at the University of Surrey, UK, April 11-13, 2002.
The Plenary Speakers are:

Clare Mar-Molinero, University of Southampton
We are seeking abstracts for papers on pragmatics,
conversation/discourse analysis and (interactional)

Society for Language and Languages, Germany)
4.2. - 6.2. 2002
There will be a workshop on comparative syntax included in the programme
of the 11th annual meeting of the German Society for Language and
Languages (Gesellschaft für Sprache und Sprachen e.V., GESUS) taking
place at the University of Bratislava in February 2002.
We strongly encourage submissions of papers on syntax in the
generative framework, though principally papers on comparative syntax in
any framework are welcome.
Abstracts in English or German of not more than 300 words should be
submitted before 16.November 2001.
