The Department of Germanic Studies, University of Sheffield, is
offering from Autumn 2001: One fully-funded 3-year Postgraduate
Scholarship for PhD Research in Germanic Studies; also Several
fees-only Scholarships for Research in Germanic Studies. Applications
are invited for these scholarships in any area of Germanic Studies for
which the Department can provide expert supervision. These areas
include: German 19th and 20th century literature, history of ideas,
linguistics, philology, politics, modern history, film studies; modern
Dutch literature; Luxembourgish.
