	The Division of Human Sciences, Aomori University of Health and Welfare,
	a public university established by the government of Aomori Prefecture
	in 1999 to educate nurses, physiotherapists and social welfare
	specialists, is offering a position beginning in April 2002 to help
	students gain communicative competence in English. This position is
	offered on a continuing basis, subject  to satisfactory performance.
	
	Applicants should have English as their mother tongue, a masters degree
	or higher in EFL, ESL, linguistics, or another related area, and a
	record of successful teaching experience at the tertiary level, and
	should be prepared to work as a member of a teaching team with other
	speakers of English. Initially, knowledge of Japanese is not a
	requirement, but the successful candidate will be positively inclined
	towards Japanese language and culture.
