We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Subject: Dyslexia and Foreign Language teaching
Hi,
I am a second year undergraduate in the department of Education at the
University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I am currently looking for potential
references for my dissertation, which will hopefully be on the subject of
Dyslexia as a link with Foreign Language learning and teaching.
I am aware that most research has been done into Dyslexia and the mother
tongue; however I would be grateful to know if anyone knows of any useful
references on this subject.
Thankyou very much,
Joan Gills

Subject: looking for English corpus with discourse annotations
Hi,
I'm looking for an annotated corpus of English narrative text that tracks
the discourse focus, sentence by sentence. Any leads would be gratefully
appreciated. Please send responses to ronan.reilly at ucd.ie
