The English Department at the University of Missouri-Columbia seeks to
hire a Visiting Assistant Professor in English Language and Linguistics
for the 2001-2002 academic year. The person hired will teach three
courses per semester, including Structure of American English and two of
the following: Principles of Teaching English as a Second Language,
Introduction to Language, English Syntax, History of English, Regional
and Social Dialects of English. Salary is $32,000. Ph.D. and teaching
experience are required.
