The College of Humanities of Kyungpook National University (KNU) is
currently inviting applications for two faculty positions in
Linguistics and American/British Literature. With over 24,000 students
and 850 faculty, KNU is one of Korea's leading universities, and to
complement its location by Korea's ancient cultural capital, KNU is
also committed to creating a thriving international academic
environment that can challenge the aspirations of global education.

Qualifications:	Ph.D. in related field and native English speaker
Salary: Ranging from 35 to 65 million won (current exchange rate: $1
        being approximately 1,300 won) based on previous experience
Benefits: University housing on campus (excluding utilities), health
 insurance, round-trip airfare
Period:	2 years (beginning March 2, 2002)
Duties: 9 hours of teaching per week (15-week semester)
