Subject: Tenure-track in Applied Linguistics
Assistant Professor of English, Linguistics.
Tenure-track position beginning August 2002. PhD in Linguistics
required. The Linguistics Program at George Mason University solicits
applications for a theoretical linguist with a primary specialty in
Second Language Acquisition/Applied Linguistics. A secondary specialty
in phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, or some other
linguistic subfield is desired. Applicants are expected to participate
in and develop the program's strong TESL track, and should demonstrate
an ability to relate theory to practice.
