Dear colleagues,
Last week I asked the following question (Vol. 13.2058):
>Could anyone help me with the French translation of the terms
>"optimality theory" and "back formation"?
I received four responses for the first, two for the second term.
They all agree that the following are the French translations:
optimality theory: théorie de l'optimalité
backformation: rétroformation
I would like to thank Bert Peeters, Jean-Charles Khalifa, Martin
Forst, Rémy Viredaz and <pkcyber at intnet.bj> for their answers.
Best wishes,
Pius ten Hacken
