We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

Dear Linguist-List subscribers,
We are currently preparing a CD-Rom with Profs. Partee and Borschev's
Math for linguists course materials. As part of the project, we are
compiling misprints in Partee, ter Meulen and Wall's "Mathematical
Methods in Linguistics" (Kluwer) and we would really appreciate if you
could send us any (potential) errata you might have spotted to
luisalo at linguist.umass.edu.
Thanks in advance.

I need to come into contact with someone who has (preferably) first
hand knowledge of the Fur language (Nilo-Saharan, but if I understand
it right its classification has been/is debated) spoken in the
Northern Sudan and also some places in Chad. I have read the grammar
by Angelika Jacobi (1990); no other materials on this language are
available in Scandinavia, and I need to clarify some issues. Any
pointers to people or institutions where I could find someone
competent in Fur will be greatly appreciated. Should there be any
interest, I will post a summary.
Thanks a lot in advance!
My best wishes,
Ljuba
