Subject: INTEX:A Software Platform for a Large-Coverage Description of Languages
Dear Colleagues,
Maurice Gross's death is a terrible loss for the linguistic community and
especially for the INTEX project, which started in 1993 with the goal of
offering a software platform for a large-coverage description of languages
based on the theory of Z. Harris's Transformational Grammars and the
methodology developed by M. Gross and his team.
We wish to offer the academic world an opportunity to use INTEX and its
English module (DELA and Finite-State local grammars). The English module
does not yet contain disambiguation rules or lexicon-grammars; we hope that
you will help us add linguistic data!
Version 4.24 (coming soon) will offer the French module as well as a few new
functionalities and improvements.

Best
