Description:
SYSTRAN Software Inc., a leading provider of Machine Translation
technology located in San Diego CA, is expanding and developing a new
range of MT technologies.
SYSTRAN seeks an energetic senior Korean computational linguist with
the following high qualifications:
- Lead the Korean team and manage the continued development of the
Korean-English and English-Korean language pairs.
- Further develop and improve the Korean components.
- Contribute to and oversee the development of the Korean machine
translation dictionaries.
- Design and supervise testing of Korean entries.
- Supervise Korean lexicographers and testers.
- Interface with the other peers of SYSTRAN's development group,
development group.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An advanced degree in Computational Linguistics or Computer Science
(PhD, Masters).
- Good C/C++ and Perl programming skills.
- Experience in project management.
- A native Korean speaker with previous experience in Korean
computational linguistics projects.
