Subject: Cognitive Science Doctorate Programme
Osnabrueck Cognitive Science Doctorate Programme
Next admission deadline (for start in April 2003): 5 January 2003.
Cognitive Science started in Osnabrueck with a Bachelor Programme in
1998, which was the first undergraduate Cognitive Science programme
offered in Germany and has been attracting about 80 new students each
year. A Master Programme was started in 2001.
This autumn, we have launched the Doctorate Programme. It is a
three-year international curricular programme for the degree of a
Dr.phil. or Dr. rer.nat. and is supported by the DAAD. Admission to
the Doctorate Prgramme requires a Masters degree or equivalent in
either Cognitive Science or one of its subdisciplines. There is also
an option for an integrated Masters and Doctorate study.
