There was an error in the first call for papers for the 13th Annual
Conference of the European Second Language Association. The correct
deadline for abstract submission is 31 January **2003**. Acceptance of
papers will be notified by 30 April 2003.

Conference location
The conference will be held in the Aula Magna on the campus of
Stockholm University, just outside the centre of Stockholm. Stockholm
is a city on 14 islands situated where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic
Sea. Apart from the beautiful conference centre, the city offers
splendid sightseeing opportunities such as the medieval Old Town, the
beautifully restored Royal Warship Vasa from 1628 and the open-air
museum Skansen with a collection of old rural and urban buildings.

Call for papers
We invite abstracts of up to 200 words for
- paper presentations (time allotted 20 min)
- panels of 3-5 participants, including the co-ordinator (time
allotted 60-100 min; abstracts should also include presentations of
each individual contribution)
- posters (space allotted 180x90 cm)
Submit abstracts preferrably by email in an attachment to
CL2004 at tolk.su.se or send it by mail to our address (see below).
Remember to give the name/s/ of the author/s/, affiliation and
address.
Important dates
- Deadline for submission of abstracts: March 31st, 2003.
- Notification of acceptance: August/September 2003.
- Programme available: September/October 2003.
- Early bird registration: before December 31st, 2003
