Assistant Professor in Linguistics

Assistant Professor of English, sociolinguist or psycholinguist, able
to teach introductory through graduate courses, including in Texts and
Technologies Ph.D. Program and proposed M.A. in Rhetoric and
Composition.  Research desirable in such areas as simulation and
modeling, internet, government, military discourses, multiple
literacies, or visual languages.  Strong teaching record with promise
of significant scholarship.  Tenure-track position begins August 2003.
Ph.D. or equivalent expected by start date.
