We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

Hello.
I'm planning a study of lexical development in third languages and need
to have access to a list of translation equivalent verbs in Spanish,
English, German, and French, with argument structure and
subcategorisation frames tagged, and with frequency data. Does anybody
know of a corpus with these characteristics that I could use with a Mac?
Thanks,
Chris Hall

Dear Linguists,
I'm MAKITA Yuka, Chubu University, Japan.
I'm interested in a comparative study of raising constructions.
And, now, I'd like some native speakers of Icelandic to make
grammatical judgement of some existential constructions.
If you can help my work, please e-mail me <makita at isc.chubu.ac.jp>.
Thanks in advance,
Best wishes,
MAKITA Yuka
