Call For Submissions (Books & Dissertations in Linguistics)
Gorgias Press (www.gorgiaspress.com), an academic publishing firm, is
interested in manuscript submissions in the various sub-disciplines of
language & linguistics, including textbooks, monographs, reference
works, and dissertations (the latter for inclusion in the Gorgias
Dissertations Series).
Interested authors of textbooks, monographs and reference works may
send a book proposal to publishing at gorgiaspress.com containing a
description of the work, and brief curricula vitae. If the work is
complete or near completion, authors may include a table of contents
and sample chapters.
Authors of Ph.D. dissertations may submit dissertations for inclusion
in the "Gorgias Dissertation Series". Please send to
publishing at gorgiaspress.com an abstract, a table of contents, sample
chapters, and the names and email addresses of three scholars who are
familiar with the work (e.g., examiners, supervisors, etc.) for review
purposes.
Gorgias Press also reprints out-of-copyright books which are still of
value to the modern scholars. A few books on Semitic languages have
already been published. Please let us know of any important books that
are worth reprinting by adding them to the Reprint Wish list on
www.gorgiaspress.com.
All submissions are subject to a peer-review process to ensure quality
of content.
