Specifically, the company designs software applications for the
complex area of Trade Compliance.
The company is seeking a linguist with an expertise in lexicography
and ontology to work with an existing team of researchers and
developers.
Candidates' knowledge base should also include computational
linguistics, information retrieval and database querying using SQL. A
Masters or PHD degree in Computational Linguistics is preferred.
Responsibilities will include the analysis and modelling of highly
specialized domains for the purposes of query expansion and
hierarchical information retrieval.
Successful candidates will work closely with internal team members, as
well as outside strategic partners in the academic and business
communities.
