Description:

The person appointed will be able to teach courses in general
linguistics at all levels, and will have the ability to teach one or
more of the following subjects as a specialism: phonetics (including
acoustic phonetics), psycholinguistics, grammar, discourse analysis.
He or she will also participate in departmental administrative and
pastoral duties and be research active. The appointment will be on the
Lecturer A scale (22,191 - 25,451 pounds p.a.). The post is available
from 1 September 2003 for a fixed term of one year. Application packs
