==========================================================================
The LINGUIST List strongly encourages employers to use
non-discriminatory standards in hiring policy. In particular we urge
that employers do not discriminate on the grounds of race, ethnicity,
nationality, age, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. However, we
have no means of enforcing these standards.
Job seekers should pay special attention to language in ads regarding
employment requirements and are encouraged to consult our international
employment page http://linguistlist.org/jobnet.html.
This page has been set up so that people can report on the employment
standards of various countries.

Mystus Exhibits is a museum exhibit creation company. We are currently
working on an exhibit for a new science centre in Wolfsburg, Germany.
The exhibit is called "Heredity Tree of Language" as is supposed to
trace several words through time in the Indo-European language
tree. Special focus will be on the Germanic languages because of the
location of the museum. We are in need of a consultant / researcher to
provide us with the words, pronunciations and other relevant
information for the exhibit.
The ideal candidate would be located in Toronto but this is in no way
a requirement. Please apply to linguistjob at mystus.com and direct any
