Description:
The RALI Laboratory at Universite de Montreal is looking to hire a
full-time researcher or a post-doctoral student to work on the
TransType2 project (TT2).
TT2 is an international research project, funded in part by the
European Commission's Fifth Framework Programme, whose goal is to
develop an innovative type of interactive machine translation
system. For more on the project, see:

This is a eighteen-month term position, from January 2004 until June
2005, although there may be some possibility of continuing on at the
RALI after the end of the TT2 project. For more on the RALI, see:

Candidates should have a strong background in statistical language
processing; prior experience in machine translation would also be an
asset. Those interested are asked to send a letter of introduction
along with a detailed CV to Elliott Macklovitch before December 19
2003.
