Providence University

The Department of English Language, Literature, and Linguistics at
Providence University in Shalu, Taichung, Taiwan, R.O.C. is accepting
applications for a vacancy in Linguistics for the 2003-2004 Academic
Year.

Applicants, should have a Ph.D. completed, and specialize in
Phonological Theories. The successful applicant will teach specialized
courses in his/her own field in the Graduate Program, but general
English courses will also be among the courses taught on the
undergraduate level in the English Department.

Required documents: application letter, curriculum vitae,
autobiographic sketch in English, diploma, transcripts, three letters
of recommendation, and a copy of the dissertation or a representative
publication.

All materials must arrive no later than June 30, 2003. The contract is
effective from August 1, 2003.
