Abstract:
			
The "Kluge" is the famous standard dictionary of German etymology. It
comprehensively informs about the historical development and forming
of 13,000 German and foreign words. For this edition, the editor has
carefully examined, revised and updated the entire text. For the first
time the Kluge is published with a CD-ROM that allows detailed and
quick inquiries. The layout and cover have been redisigned to give the
dictionary a more up-to-date appearance.
