Description:
The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), one of the United Arab
Emirates' (UAE) premier educational institutions seeks faculty members
for their 4 year Bachelor of Education program. HCT has over 14,000
students and almost 2,000 employees. The Bachelor of Education program
is preparing the next generation of Teachers for the public school
system in the UAE. One of the main points of focus for these faculty
is the Teaching of English to Young Learners. The Higher Colleges of
Technology seek Teacher Trainers to teach in their B.Ed. program.
Qualifications: Young Learner Teaching (age 5 -14) qualification
and/or Young Learner TESOL / TESOL qualification and/or an Education
Degree: B.Ed., M.Ed., PGCE etc.
3 years of Young Learner Teaching (age 5 -14) experience and/or 3
years of TESOL experience.
Master's degree (or in preparation). Teacher training
experience/experience in academic course/program design and
development.
Compensation: The HCT offers an attractive salary & benefit
