Meeting Description:
The Annual Finnish and Estonian Conference of Linguistics has a
general scope not excluding any branches of linguistics. There are
several parallel sessions, arranged by field/topic, poster
presentations as well as workshops. The languages of the conference
are Estonian, Finnish and English.
The Annual Finnish and Estonian Conference of Linguistics, Tallinn
6.-7.5.2004
1. circular, November 2003
The Annual Finnish and Estonian Conference of Linguistics will be held
this time at the Tallinn Pedagogical University in Estonia. The scope
of the conference is broad; paper proposals from all branches of
linguistics are invited. The length of presentation is 20 minutes plus
10 minutes for discussion. Poster presentations as well as suggestions
for workshops are welcome. The languages of the conference are
Estonian, Finnish and English. Please email your abstract or workshop
proposals (both of max. 300 words) to ktp2004 at tpu.ee by 2. January
2004. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent in
mid-February 2004.
Please include in the following order:
1. Title
2. Indication whether it is a presentation, poster or workshop
2. Author's/moderatorEuro(tm)s name
3. Author's/moderatorEuro(tm)s affiliation
4. Email address at which the author wishes to be notified
5. Equipment needs (overhead, computer projection etc.)
6. A 300-word abstract (both as a Word attachment as well as in the
body of the message).
The second circular (in early April) will contain the programme, fees,
hotel and travel information.
