Abstract:

Cette dernière décennie, une kyrielle de travaux de linguistique
portant sur le lexique ont insisté sur l'appropriation et la dynamique
du français en francophonie. Dans cette optique, la présente étude des
présentatifs (c'est, il y a, il est, voici, voilà), qui ne reprend pas
une autre, contribue à mettre en relief la flexibilité de la
morphosyntaxe du français. Cela à travers une réelle appropriation de
la langue-cible par une population francophone précise ; d'où
l'exploration de la prose romanesque du classique africain Mongo Beti.

Cette étude d'une classe syntaxique nouvelle et trés peu explorée est
élaborée sur les principes du distributionnalisme. La tendance qui a
prévalu ici, c'est celle d'Einar Haugen qui préconise une double étude
(interne et externe) de la langue. Elle prend nécessairement en compte
non seulement les constructions (morphosyntaxiques), mais aussi les
questions d'énonciation qui entourent l'usage des présentatifs et dont
l'incidence sémantique (et pragmatique) est considérable.

Cette option permet d'évoluer de la micro-syntaxe (phrastique) à la
macro-syntaxe (supra phrastique), pour percevoir les présentatifs
comme d'importants jalons séquentialisants du discours. Il s'ensuit la
nécessité d'une articulation harmonieuse du linguistique et du
littéraire, d'une part, de l'oral et de l'écrit, d'autre part ; à ce
moment où l'oralisation de la langue française s'accélère.

In the last decade, many studies in the area of linguistics relating
to lexis have focused on the appropriation and dynamism of the French
Language in the francophone world. In this connection, the present
study on "présentatifs" (c'est, il y a, il est, voici, voilà) a study
that has not yet been so systematically and profoundly done,
contributes in showing the flexibility of the morphology and syntax of
the French Language. The study permits a real appropriation of a
target language by a given francophone community ; hence, the
exploration of the aesthetics of the works of Mongo Beti that have
become a classic in African writing.

This study of a new category of syntax that has not been adequately
explored is elaborated on the principle of distributionalism. The
study is informed by the postulations of Einar Haugen which stipulate
a dual study (intrinsic and extrinsic) of language. It therefore takes
into consideration not only morpho-syntatic constructs but especially
issues on enunciation that relates to the use of "présentatifs" and
whose semantic and pragmatic consequences are of great importance.

This orientation therefore, allows us to evolve from phraseological
micro-syntax to supra-phraseological macro-syntax in order to enhance
the perception of "présentatifs" as important mile stones that
indicates a division of discourse. It follows, therefore, that one can
discern the need for a harmonious articulation of the linguistic and
the literary, on the one hand, and of the oral and the written on the
other ; in the situation where the orality of the French Language is
