Description:
Tenure-line Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies.
Texas A&M University is looking for a junior faculty member to teach
undergraduate and graduate courses and pursue research in either
Hispanic Theater or Hispanic Sociolinguistics. We are particularly
interested in candidates with a pan-Hispanic research and teaching
focus. Pending final administrative approval, the successful
candidate will join a new Department of Hispanic Studies, which will
be offering an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies in
September 2004. Candidates must have the Ph.D. in hand by the time of
appointment and possess native or near-native command of Spanish.
