Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to let the linguistics community know about our
latest efforts to have ASL recognized for purposes of foreign language
degree requirements at Boston University. (We are trying again after
failing to achieve this on our last attempt, a decade ago.) We have a
Web site with a lot of information on this subject (much of which may
be of general interest); the site also includes an on-line petition,
in case linguists may wish to offer support.

Thanks!
