Description:
The Institute of Linguistics and Cultural Studies at National Chiao
Tung University invite applications for a full-time tenure-track
position in LINGUISTICS at all possible levels, with a starting date
of August 1st, 2004.
We seek applications with a Ph. D degree and strong record of research
in the following areas: 1)Computational Linguistics (Speech-related
research is preferred); 2)Cognitive Linguistics or neurolinguistics;
3)Interface between syntax, semantics and prosody. Strong
consideration will be given to applicants whose research is
corpus-based and can be integrated with the existing strengths of the
Institute.
Regular duties include graduate and undergraduate teaching, research,
graduate student advising, as well as Institute, Departmental, and
College service assignment as required for university faculty members.
