We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at

Hi
I am doing my third year project on word association responses between men
and women.
Could anyone please tell me of any articles/journals and books I could use
for my literature review and to see what any previous studies found.
Any help would be greatful.
Thank you

Dear LinguistList colleagues,
I wonder if anybody knows any publications devoted to the frequency of
occurrence of sounds in Eastern Neo-Aramaic? Must we feed into computer the
conversational texts in the Eastern dialect of Neo-Aramaic in order to
compare the frequency of occurrence of its phonemes to those of Hebrew,
Arabic and other semitic languages. Looking forward to hearing your advice
to yutamb at hotmail.com
Yours sincerely,
Yuri Tambovtsev
