Description:

Full-time, tenure track position offered for 2005-2006.  Appointee will teach
English/Spanish translation courses in an associate degree program and a
bechelor's minor degree program; pursue translation publications agenda;
coordinate some undergraduate translation courses; advise students; provide
service to university.  Requirements: MA in Translation Studies and 18 or more
graduate credits in Spanish and/or MA in Spanish and 30 or more graduate credits
in applied language or related areas from an accredited U.S. university; native
or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English; demonstrated excellence in
teaching; evidence of published translations or ongoing research agenda;
experience in legal/commercial translation and on-line teaching.  Candidates may
