NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING / LANGUAGE ENGINEERING
DIANA TEKNOLOGIA, within the Basque Government Industry Department
program for funding the realization of Ph. D. dissertations in the
industry, offers a scholarship of 12.140 EUR yearly (renewable) for
the elaboration of a Ph. D. dissertation.
Diana Teknologia:
Located in Gipuzkoa, the company specializes in the development of
software technology in the field of Natural Language Processing for
its application in Knowledge Management in the business world.
Requirements:
- To have satisfied requirements for writing and defending a
Ph. D. dissertation.
- Citizenship in one of the EU member countries.
- Total dedication to the dissertation.
Research Team:
- A main researcher, University Professor, who will direct the project
and act as thesis director.
- The candidate.
- Other researchers from the university and the company.
Dissertation:
- For any of the following languages: Basque (priority), French,
English (priority), Spanish (priority), the student should research
a subject related to the technologies being developed at Diana
Teknologia.
- Results of the research would be freely and exclusively used for
commercial applications by Diana Teknologia.
- Results of the research will conform to the interests of the
company, who will use and incorporate them into their know-how. The
company will also apply them in accordance with the contract that
will be signed with the Research Team.
