Abstract:

Theory, Practice, and Acquisition is a selected proceedings of the 6th
Hisp anic Linguistics Symposium and the 5th Conference on the
Acquisition of Spa nish and Portuguese, which were held together at
the University of Iowa on October 18-20, 2002. The volume is organized
into five sections: (1) phonet ics, phonology, morphology, and
historical linguistics, (2) syntax and sema ntics, (3) language
use,(4) L2 acquisition: syntax, morphology, phonology, and (5) applied
linguistics.
