The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of
Cyprus seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in Translation
Studies at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor.
The candidates' working languages must include Greek and English and
one other European language. The successful candidate is expected to
have a good background in the theory and practice of translation, and
an interest in interpretation.
The successful candidates should be willing to teach courses ranging
from introductory to graduate level courses. Teaching load: Two
courses a semester. Gross annual salary including the 13th salary:
Lecturer CYP22.136-CYP32.421; Assistant Professor CYP26.211-CY35.355.

summary of current and future research plans (2-3pp); and copies of
