Description:

Contribution to the EU research project BenToWeb (Benchmarking Tools
and Methods for the Web) in the work package "Methods for the
evaluation of textual information on the Web". The main areas are
criteria, metrics, and automatic methods for judging text
readability. These can lie on the lexical, syntactic, and (sentence,
discourse) semantic level and are to be evaluated, adapted, and
implemented. The methods can build on morpho-lexical, syntactic, and
semantic resources and programs of the chair, e.g. a large
semantically oriented computer lexicon and a syntactico-semantic
parser for German.
