Description:

The Department of English at Paderborn University, Germany, has an opening
for a Research Associate (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter BAT IIa) with
specialization in English Applied Linguistics starting 1st August 2005. 

This is a fractional position (50%). Appointments will be made for a period
of three years in the first instance and may be extended for a further
three years. This position is suitable for candidates wishing to pursue a
PhD in Applied Linguistics/ Language Acquisition Research.

Duties:
One course per semester (2hrs/ week), research duties in a project on
Language Acquisition Research. 

Profile:
The successful candidates must be have an excellent command of English and
a four-year degree in linguistics or a related field. 

Candidates are requested to submit a CV and other relevant documents, and
arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent to the address below.
