Abstract:
This volume contains 12 papers selected from the 6th Conference on the
Acquisition of Spanish and Portuguese as First and Second Languages, which
was held at the University of New Mexico on October 16-18, 2003. The papers
discuss how children and adults learn Spanish and Portuguese, examining the
acquisition and development of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics,
