Meeting Description:
Politeness and ethics are very much interlinked with one another. Both are norms
in the culture of the community, at all levels of social and professional life.
They are the essential features of civilization, and their manifestations are
seen in various modes and media. It is recommended that papers give special
attention to the rules and practice of ethics in various professions: teaching,
writing, research, business,administration and management, medicine, public
health, advertising the media, legal practices, etc.
Invitations are extended to all those interested in presenting papers on any
aspect relevant to the theme of the conference and to those interested in
attending and participating in the discussions.
The title of the paper and the abstract should reach the conference secretariat
not later than 1st November 2005 and the full paper not later than 2nd January
2006. A floppy disk, in microsoft PC format, should accompany the hard copy.
Submission through the electronic mail is welcomed.
Subscription is USD120. or USD100 for students(inclusive of lunches, snacks and
conference dinner.)
The languages of the conference are Malay and English.
