The Computational Linguistics Fall School was etablished by the German
Linguistic Association as a biennial event for students who wish to widen
their knowledge of techniques and methods used in natural language processing.
The Fall School will run from 19-30 September, 2005, in Bochum, Germany.
Courses in 2005 will be:
1. Python for Computational Linguists
2. Techniques in Natural Language Generation
3. Machine Translation -- Classical and Statistical Approaches
4. An Introduction to Computational Psycholinguistics:
Modeling Human Sentence Processing
Courses consist of ten 90-minutes sessions and are credited with 4 ECTS
credit points each by the Sprachwissenschaftliches Institut,
Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum.
Early registration deadline is June 30, 2005. Regsitration fees before June
30, 2005 are 125? (student) and 175? (non-student). Registration after June
30, 2005, is 200? and 250? respectively.
