Meeting Description:

The aim of this conference is to provide an overview of the state of the art in
research on lesser used languages, with special reference to their computational
support.

Central to the conference are methodological issues such as:

* strategies for an efficient support of lesser used languages,
* problems with theoretical approaches developed for major languages when
applied to lesser used languages and
* the cultural, economical and political specificity of a user group for which
computational resources are created.

Furthermore, the conference intends to promote the networking among participants
in order to enhance the exchange of information, experience and resources.
