Description:

The Department of Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics at Yuan Ze
University in Taiwan invites applications for (a) two full-time Assistant,
Associate, or Full Professor positions in all sub-fields of Applied Linguistics,
with a specialty in either English or Japanese; and (b) one full-time
instructor's position in English.  The appointments are to be effective February
1, 2006.  The successful candidates will be expected to teach a variety of
subjects in Applied Linguistics in our M.A. program
and/or some language skills courses at the undergraduate level.

Required qualifications for 

a) the professorship-Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment, native or
near-native fluency in either English or Japanese, research credentials
commensurate with rank. 

b) the instructorship—native ability in English, M.A. in TESOL or related fields
(or B.A. with six years of experience teaching in Taiwan).
