Abstract:

In this work, the Vocabularius rerum - a Latin-German specialist dictionary
from 1483 - is edited and examined for the first time under linguistic
aspects and with respect to possible sources. This book makes an important
contribution to the study of lexicography in the Late Middle Ages, to the
development of Early New High German vocabulary, and to lexical geography
in the 15th century.
