Dear Linguists,
In case you have interest, we have presently in full and hot operation an M.A.K. Halliday Website
http://sfs.scnu.edu.cn/hehx/MAKH/index.htm
which is totally devoted to the study of M.A.K. Halliday and his SFL theory, which presents in forum
people's (esp. Chinese college students') understanding of this world famous linguist and his
theory, and which focuses more on SFL studies in China through a variety of descriptive web
pages (under-development) and links.
Launched as one of the key university projects 2004 of SCNU, this website owes a lot to the kind
help and support of many linguists and scholars, especially J. Martin from Australia, Chia-Ling
Hsieh from TaiWan, Huang Guowen, Chang Chenguang, Ding Jianxing, and Dai Fan from Sun
Yat-sen University.
Thank you very much for reading this posting.
Best regards,
He Hengxing
