The Institute of Computational Linguistics at the University of Zurich,
Switzerland, invites applications for a research studentship in Computational
Linguistics.
The successful candidate will work on the use of constraint based techniques in
syntax parsing and logical form generation, on the general background of
Question Answering and Answer Extraction.
We are looking for candidates with a good honours degree in Computational
Linguistics or Computer Science, with good programming skills and, ideally, with
specific knowledge in the domain of CLP applications in NLP.
The successful candidate must start the studentship before or on April 1st,
2006. Duration: Initially 2 years. Current value of bursary approx. CHF 34'000/y.
