This position is a 4 year appointment and can be extended. The area of
specialization is open. The new professor will be a member of the Institute of
English Studies. The University of Neuchâtel encourages female applicants.
Requirements: PhD degree; publication, research and teaching experience; a
working knowledge of French would be an advantage.
Starting Date: October 1, 2006 or to be arranged.
Application: The candidate's application should include a curriculum vitae, with
a list of publications (please do not send any publication at this point), three
letters of recommendation, copies of diplomas and/or transcripts, and a cover
letter defining the candidate's vision of the field and stating how he or she
hopes to contribute to the development of the Institute and the Faculty.
